From the hotel
des Postes to the
Belle Époque
This sumptuous building dating from 1896 once
housed the former post office of Aix les Bains ; its tower was used fort the
telegraph. In 1908, it was raised by one floor.
The coat of arms of the town of Aix les Bains,
visible on the corner of the building and above the door of the hotel, bears
witness to this period. In 1963, a large terrace was built by the previous
owners.
Recently transformed and renamed, The Hotel
Maison Leopold strikes a subtle balance between modernization and conservation.
